Theme

• How AI and Science Can Be Harnessed to Recover Sri Lanka from the Crisis

1. General Guidelines
The presentation must strictly focus on one of Sri Lanka’s current crises (economic, environmental, social, or technological) and explain how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and scientific innovation can be applied to find sustainable solutions.

• Participation is open to teams of 3-4 members from Nalanda College.
• All data, statistics, and examples must be accurate, up-to-date, and sourced from reliable sources.
• Plagiarism or false information will result in immediate disqualification.
• Presenters should connect theory with practical, real-world applications relevant to Sri Lanka.

2. Presentation Format and Duration

• Duration: The presentation must be 8-10 minutes.
• Tool:Presentations must be made using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
• Visuals: Visual content (charts, infographics, short videos, etc.) is highly encouraged to explain how AI and science can contribute to recovery.

3. Judging Criteria

• Presentations will be evaluated on the following:
• Understanding of Sri Lanka’s crisis
• Application of AI and scientific methods
• Creativity and innovation of ideas
• Practicality and feasibility of solutions
• Presentation skills and clarity
• Use of visuals and engagement
