SCIENCE DAY PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION GUIDELINES

1.Topic: “Sri Lanka Reimagined”

2.Deadline – 7th of December 2025

3.SUBMISSION CATEGORIES 

• Colour
• Monochrome
• Mobile

(Photo Journalism/Street &Travel Related Photos)

4.ENTRY LIMIT 

• Participants can submit only one photograph per category. An individual can submit up to three photographs in total.

• Any number of participants from a school may participate

5.ORIGINALITY

• All entries must be the original work of the participants.
• Entries must not infringe on any copyrights or intellectual property rights.
• Any manipulation other than colour grading and cropping is not allowed in all three categories.
• No AI generated images or over editing.

6.WATERMARKS AND SIGNATURES

• Entries should not contain any watermarks, signatures, date stamps, names, logos or any other identifying marks.

7.SUBMISSION FORMAT

• Submit photos in image file format. Maximum file size is 10MB.
• Resolution must be 300 DPI.
• One side must be at least 1080 pixels.
• Original metadata must be included.
• Raw or unedited files may be requested.
• Digital entries must include a title.

10.RIGHTS AND USAGE

• Participants keep full copyright to their images.
• Organizers have non exclusive rights to use the images for promotional purposes.
